Sex and Spirituality EDU addresses the knowledge gap for millennials and beyond. Since comprehensive sex education is not required in schools and is nonexistent in the Christian world, we are making it accessible to all who want to learn. We are starting by turning the conservative or traditional perspective of Christianity onto its head, overturning tables, and giving you the truth the way you need it so that you can make the informed decisions to use the willpower God gave you for the safety of your temple and the building of His Kingdom. With that being said, we are calling all Christian FREAKs to the front! Does that offend you? It should! The first step to learning something new about yourself and the world around you is to deal with the discomfort of what’s different from everything you ever learned then… embrace it.

Let me get indignant and speak for the state of our millennials concerning sex. We are ill-informed about the realities of sex, whether it be the science and stigma related to sexually related infections or the dismal choices between casual sexual lifestyles or stagnant, pleasureless sex in marriage. Let’s change that narrative, where valuing your body as the temple of the Holy Spirit is a blessing, not a curse, and having pleasurably satisfying sex in the marital bed is far better than the lies we have been told about sexual freedom in the world.

You know the term, “A lady in the street and a freak in the sheets.” We are created to be beings for companionship in a variety of relationships. Often, we think satisfaction in familiar and platonic relationships is all there is. But intimacy and sexual satisfaction are necessary, and its foundation starts with a comprehensive knowledge of general sex and the good that it has for our bodies when placed in the proper parameters.

Not now, nor will this ever be, an environment that says our premarital sexual desires outweigh the calling God has on our lives. But we will remain honest and raw about our choices, sometimes because of peer pressure or ignorance or by force (unwanted). Our people perish because of lack of knowledge… (Hosea 4:6). We will learn the truth about sex to live this life abundantly.

S&S EDU wants you to join us in our exploration of being FREAKS. Advocating for Fulfilling Intimacy in romantic relationships, Respectful Communication about our health status, desires, and needs, Empathy towards various lifestyles and choices, standing in our Authenticity with Kingdom-Principles as our source and foundation.
